Hampshire County Council’s Annual Planned Maintenance Programme

As part of Hampshire County Council’s Annual Planned Maintenance Programme, carriageway resurfacing will be carried out on A337 Christchurch Road for 350m at its junction with Downton Lane and Hordle Lane.

The works are scheduled to begin on 25th September 2025 and are expected to take 7 nights, with a road closure to through traffic between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs. The road will remain open outside these hours. Further details are available at One.Network Causeway one.network

Advance warning signs will be installed before the start of works, and local residents and businesses will receive a letter.
