Hampshire County Council has issued a Temporary Road Closure Order for part of Barnes Lane, Milford-on-Sea, to allow Openreach to carry out works.
The Order is in place for a period of up to six months and is currently due to expire on 13 January 2027, or when the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
Importantly, Hampshire County Council advises that the actual road closure is expected to be required for no longer than one day, with working hours between 09:30 and 15:30.
The closure affects Barnes Lane between its junction with Barnes Farm Business Park and a point approximately 100 metres north.
Diversion route: Christchurch Road → Lymington Road → Manor Road.
Openreach will provide reasonable access to adjacent properties and give notice to those directly affected by the works.
