New Forest District Council (NFDC) has completed essential coastal maintenance work at Milford-on-Sea, which includes repairing a short section of the concrete seawall that protects nearby properties and amenities from flooding and erosion. In addition to concrete repairs, the rock revetment was reinstated along this section to absorb ware energy. The works were undertaken using a specialist 120-tonne long-reach excavator. which addressed access constraints.
